Trove File Explorer is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or information about the files you browse. All file processing happens locally on your Mac.
To manage files, the app asks for your explicit permission to access folders. We use the Apple standard of 'Security-Scoped Bookmarks' for this. This allows the app to maintain access to folders you choose even after a restart, without requiring broader access to your entire disk. This information remains exclusively local on your device.
When you download the app from the Apple App Store, Apple may collect certain information according to their own privacy policies. We do not have access to this data.
